Foxgloves © Dan Hopkins 2015
I find foxgloves difficult to shoot too upright and thin to fill the frame. On mass they can be confusing to the eye. I tried with this shot to create depth by shooting wide open for narrow depth of field. I like the resulting bokeh and feeling of three D. The hover fly is getting in on the act.
